TRAVELODGE has announced that its York Central hotel is to undergo a £340,000 refurbishment 13 years after opening.
The investment in the hotel in Piccadilly follows refurbishments last year at Travelodge’s hotels in Micklegate and Tadcaster.
The news comes as the hotel chain announces an investment of £100 million into its business this year, which will see the company open 15 new hotels, including a new £4.2 million, 70-bedroom hotel in Harrogate.
