A graffiti tribute to Nelson Mandela has appeared on a wall in Brighton's North Laine.
The mural as been painted in Gloucester Road, next to a mural of 1980s film favourite E.T.
South Africa’s first black president, who died on December 5, is pictured next to one of his memorable quotes: “Tread softly, breathe peacefully, laugh hysterically.”
Mandela joins a host of other pieces of impressive artwork in Brighton and Hove, including a Terminator-inspired mural of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher which appeared in Cheapside shortly after her death in April last year.
