Five power tools were stolen from a shop in Bexhill.

The drills were taken from the electrical suppliers inn Beeching Road at 11.20pm on Monday, February 17.

They were a DeWalt XR Lilon DCH234 D2 Drill, a DeWalt DCZ211 S2R Twin Pack cordless drill, a Makita Charger, Battery and drill driver, a Bosch GBH36 VFLI cordless hammer drill (all unboxed) and a Bosch GSR 10.8 cordless drill (boxed).

PC Jessica Crump said: "Not only were a quantity of high value drills stolen from the premises but the suspects smashed a window causing damage. Please can members of the public be vigilant and to call us if anyone doing door to door sales tries to sell them drills at cheap prices, particularly without boxes, as they may be stolen property."

Any witness or anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting serial 0145 of 17/2. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
