A motorcyclist has died in a crash in Rye.
A car, a van and the motorcycle were involved in the collision Harbour Road, Rye, close to Rye Industrial Estate at 3.43pm today.
Kent, Surrey and Sussex air ambulance attended, the road being closed to allow the helicopter to land on the carriageway.
Sadly, paramedics confirmed that the motorcyclist, a man believed to be in his 20s, had died.
Harbour Road is a long cul-de-sac and to enable access to and from Rye Harbour essential traffic was diverted via a track running through Environment Agency land to Dogs Hill Road, Winchelsea Beach.
