Another man has been arrested after a woman was stabbed in the head and face with a screwdriver

The 61-year-old woman was attacked by a man in Emms Lane in Horsham at around 4.30pm on Tuesday, February 18.

She was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton suffering life-threatening injuries to her head and face. She is now out of hospital and recovering well.

A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is being treated at hospital but remains under arrest.

A 63-year-old man from Horsham has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and has bailed until March 20.
