A man has been airlifted to hospital after suffering a heart attack in the street.

Sussex Police closed the A286 Basin Road in Chichester after the man suffered a suspected heart attack just after 8am this morning.

The road was closed between Market Avenue and A27 Chichester Bypass Stockbridge Roundabout while the air ambulance landed at the city’s bus station.
