A man has arrested after allegedly exposing himself to his street while children walked home from school.

Sussex Police have received a number of reports of a man standing naked in a doorway in Macleod Road, Horsham, and acting indecently while passers-by including schoolchildren from nearby schools walked by between 3pm to 3.30pm on several days this month.

PC Elaine Johnson said: "There is no suggestion that he has directly threatened or approached anyone, but this type of behaviour is very offensive and upsetting for anyone passing by.”

A 54-year old local man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual exposure and after being interviewed has been released on police bail until April 9.

Anyone with information should contact Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 601 of 25/2.
