Man arrested after parked cars damaged in streets of St Leonards

Vandals damaged more than a dozen cars parked in residential streets.

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after more than a dozen cars were vandalised in a night in St Leonards.

The vehicles were targeted in Bohemia Road and Battle Road late on Saturday or early on Sunday with many having their wing mirrors broken off and police want to hear from anyone in the area between 2am and 4am.

A 22-year-old man from St Leonards has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and bailed until April 28.
