Three street robberies carried out within four hours could all have been carried out by the same person.

Sussex Police are investigating three street robberies in Eastbourne and are appealing for witnesses.

In the first incident a woman had her bag snatched as she was walking alone in Ceylon Place at about 11.30pm on Monday by a man described as Asian and aged 25 to 30.

At about 3.05pm on the same evening an 18-year old man walking along Langney Road was attacked outside Phoenix Court by two males described as being of black or mixed race, aged in their 20s who stole his wallet and a mobile phone before running off towards Seaside.

Finally ten minutes later a 21-year-old local woman was walking alone in Seaside was pushed to the ground and was then kicked in her back and head by a man who grabbed her bag and ran off with it towards the town centre.

This man is described as Asian with dark hair aged early 30s, 5' 9" of medium build wearing a dark jacket.
