Shoreham? It was nowhere near Shoreham!
It was beyond even Southwick, Mile Oak and Portslade.

Try Hangleton and you might be nearer the mark.

..let's hear the calls for the speed limit to be reduced, NOT!
Wonder when it will penetrate the dense matter of some drivers that excessive speed and driving too close to others is not the brightest activity!

Absolutely, I (along with, i'm sure, thousands of others) drive through this tunnel and along this stretch of road twice a day and have done for 3 years without any issues, I just don't understand why some people find it so difficult! If you're travelling eastbound the chances are when you exit the tunnel you might have the sun in your eyes - out your sun visor down, If travelling westbound, there may be traffic pulling out of the layby - keep an eye out. Pay attention to where you are going and there should be no problems!

But that would slow down the speeding commuter who left home a bit too late, and who might also be fiddling with their beloved iPhone. How inconsiderate of you.
