Firefighters are tackling a fire that broke out at a school in Horsham.

Crews were called to Millais School in Depot Road just before 3pm today.

The fire is believed to have started in the girls' toilets.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said six crews had been sent to the scene and the fire was ongoing.

The school has been evacuated and there are no reports of injury.

Police have closed Depot Road at the junction with Orchard Road and Comptons Lane.

The fire has now been brought under control.

An investigation has been launched into the cause of the blaze.
