Police are investigating after a man was seen being punched.

The victim of the apparent assault, which happened just before 7pm yesterday (March 24) in Bramber Avenue, Hangleton, has not be identified and police are concerned for his safety.

A witness reported to the police that he saw two white men standing beside a van arguing with a third man. One of the two men was then seen to punch the third man who fell to the floor. The van sped off.

Inspector Richard Delacour said: "If you saw what happened or were the victim of the assault please contact police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1273 24/3
