A car has crashed into railings on Brighton's Marlborough Place and two more have been damaged following a collision this morning.
Emergency services were called at 10.50am after one car crashed into parked cars and then into a building on Marlborough Place, which is on Grand Parade.
Wendy Gilbert, from Kilbracken Properties, who manage Premier House on the road, said: “It was all rather dramatic.
“I was upstairs when I heard this bang and the building shook. I went outside and there was all this smoke and oil on the road.
“The car was pretty badly smashed up but nobody appeared to be badly hurt. The Mercedes hit the railings but luckily didn't go through the office window."
Paul Grzegorzek walked past shortly afterwards and took these pictures.
He said: "There is petrol all over the pavement although the fire service have declared the scene safe and allowed everyone back inside now."
Police say no-one was seriously injured, but one woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police enquiries are continuing.
Two lanes are blocked, causing delays due to the accident on the northbound A23 close to the Royal Pavilion.
All traffic is now using the bus lane according to our live traffic feed.
