UPDATE: Shakedown Festival will be headlined by Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, Gorgon City, Jaguar Skills,  DJ EZ and Kidnap Kid, it has been announced. 

The festival got its licence to hold the event at Brighton's Waterhall Conservation Area on Monday.

The lineup was due to be announced at midday, but was eventually tweeted out at 5pm. 

More as we get it.

Dealing with idiots says...

So if its ok to have a concert on the land without the possibilty of polluting the Brighton aquifer, why is it not possible to have a properly managed park and ride site based at Waterhall?
