This is another very sad case. RIP
Does anyone know if they ever found the boy who was swept away at Newhaven last October? It must be awful if they are not found.

This is such sad news. Heartfelt condolences to all concerned, including those who tried to save her. Much have been dreadful to witness.

Sad news indeed, but if the lifeboat was used to recover the body which was reported as floating in the sea, how does the Argus turn that into 'washed up on the beach'?

This ladys body did not wash up on the beach, it was spotted floating face down some way out to sea just off Splash Point. The lady was recovered by Shoreham Lifeboat Crew who attempted to resuscitate her.
The lifeboat crew landed the lady on the beach and handed over to SECAMB staff.
