A DJ is facing another date in court over allegations he indecently assaulted a woman at a panto.

Dave Lee Travis has been told by the Crown Prosecution Service that he will be facing a retrial over charges he assaulted an assistant at a pantomime performance of Aladdin at Crawley Worth theatre in 1990.

The allegation is one of two charges that the CPS have confirmed the Radio 1 dj will have to face just a month after he was cleared of 12 sex offences following a six-week trial.

The jury failed to reach a verdict on the allegations at the Crawley theatre where it is alleged only the intervention of comedy duo The Chuckle Brothers ended the attack.

A second charge relates to an alleged attack on a journalist who interviewed the 68-year-old at his home in 2008.
