Two councils have teamed up to launch a campaign against dog fouling.
Mid Sussex District Council and Burgess Hill Town Council are hoping to reduce dog mess in the town with their “don't turn your back on dog fouling” campaign.
Residents are being urged to be on the lookout for owners who do not clear up their pet's mess - and then provide as much information as possible including date, time and location of the offence as well a description of the dog.
The council intends to hand out on-the-spot fines.
