A man was bitten on the ear in a street attack.

The 29-year-old had his ear chewed in Terminus Road, Eastbourne, on Saturday, March 29, shortly before 3.20am, Sussex Police said.

A force spokesman said: “Police attended where two men, both from Eastbourne, were found to have been injured, apparently after having been attacked by a group of men.

“One, aged 22, had a cut across the bridge of his nose and the other, a 29-year-old, had what appeared to be a bite mark to his ear, causing a small wound. Both men had blood on their faces and clothing. No witnesses have come forward.”
