Talented youngsters are gearing up for a gala performance for the mayor.

Portslade-based A2Arts Performing Arts Academy, Brighton School of Singing and Marta Scott Dance Company are three of Brighton and Hove’s top young performers warming up their vocal chords and hamstrings in preparation for the Mayor's Variety Performance show.

The fundraiser will be held on Saturday at Hove Town Hall from 6.30pm and will raise money for the Mayor's charities Age UK Brighton and Hove, The Argus Appeal, The Martlets Hospice, Off the Fence and the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.

The evening will be hosted by Mr Lurve himself Ambrose Harcourt and also stars Brighton Theatre Youth Group, electronic violinist Sarah Milner, singer Bethany Walsh, Clique Dance Group and Drama Queens.
