A physiotherapist ensures his patients receive wheely speedy treatment – by travelling to appointments on a skateboard.

Dylan Woodhead, 28, a physiotherapy graduate from the University of Brighton, cuts as much as 15 minutes off journey times by jumping on his skateboard instead of waiting in traffic jams.

Dylan, who achieved a masters degree at the university’s School of Health Professions in Eastbourne, now works in central London.

He said: “I use public transport when I have to, but I get from A to B much faster when I’m also using my skateboard.

“Skateboarding is a very apt sport for physios. It requires incredibly good position-perception, balance, muscle strength and agility.”

He joked: “I’m thinking of patenting myself as the ‘Physio on Wheels’”.
