An eight-year-old boy today remains critically ill in hospital following an incident at a play park.
The youngster, believed to live in Ifield, was injured on Monday in Cherry Lane Adventure Playground, Crawley.
It is understood the swing he was on broke and he was hit on the head by a wooden pole.
He was taken by air ambulance to St George's Hospital in Tooting, South London, with serious head injuries.
The park and four similar ones in Crawley remain closed.
