A construction worker has been charged with dangerous driving following a crash when two pedestrians were hit.
An 18-year-old suffered serious injuries following the smash on the A29 London Road, Pulborough, on Sunday morning.
A Sussex Police spokesman said today: “Daniel Flay, 31, of Highfield, Wick, near Littlehampton, has been charged with GBH with intent, ABH, dangerous driving and driving when over the alcohol limit.
“At about 12.35am on Sunday 13 April two men aged 18 and 24, both pedestrians, were injured when they were hit by a car being driven north on the A29 London Road, Pulborough.
“The 18-year old was taken to St George's Hospital in South London with serious but non-life threatening head and body injuries. The 24-year old was treated at Worthing Hospital for a leg injury.”
Flayis set to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court today.
