A woman was found not breathing round the side of a Brighton shopping centre.
Paramedics and police rushed to Churchill Square on Tuesday, April 8, at 6.20pm following reports of a collapsed woman.
A Sussex Police statement said: “We were called to Churchill Square shopping centre in Brighton at 6.20pm on Tuesday 8 April after a woman was found not breathing.
“The eastern side of the shopping centre was closed while paramedics worked on the woman. The woman was then taken to hospital for treatment.”
A South East Coast Ambulance statement said: “SECAmb was called shortly before 6.20pm to reports a woman had collapsed and was not breathing. Three ambulance crews attended the scene. The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to Royal Sussex County hospital in a life-threatening condition.”
