A 20-year-old man was walking in a city centre when three men approached him and stole his phone and cash.
Detectives investigating a street robbery in Brighton have appealed for anyone who saw the incident to come forward.
It happened between 4am and 8am on Saturday, 5 April, when the man was walking on North Street, Brighton, near the Royal Bank of Scotland.
He was approached by three dark-haired men who spoke a foreign language, possibly Spanish, who assaulted him and stole an iPhone and cash.
The victim was left with minor injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk, quoting serial 1086 of 5/4.
