Road closed in Lewes
A main road in Lewes has been shut.
The A2029 Eastgate Street isclosed between A2029 East Street and A277 High Street.
Brighton and Hove Bus services 28 and 29 are diverted as a result.
Services towards Broyle Estate and Tunbridge Wells will serve the High Street in Lewes and then go directly to Tesco and will not serve Eastgate Street.
Services towards Brighton will serve Tesco in Lewes and then divert via the Culfail Tunnel.
The company cannot serve Lewes High Street going towards Brighton at the moment
It is unclear the cause of the road closure.
