A mystery woman was knocked unconscious and robbed on a night out in Brighton.

The victim, who police want to trace, was attacked by a group of three or four men between the Volks Tavern and Concorde 2 in Madeira Drive at about 3.30am on Saturday, April 5.

She was knocked to the ground and robbed before being helped by people passing by. Her attackers fled.

PC James Botting said: "I am trying to identify a group of two women and three men who were near the Volks Tavern at about the time of the attack.

"The men were all of mixed race. Two were wearing black hooded tops and one was wearing a grey hooded top.

"If you were in the area at the time and saw what happened, or know anything at all about the attack, please contact me."
