Appeal for witnesses after an assault in Horsham

Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Horsham on Thursday (April 17).

A 17-year-old boy was at the skate park in North Street when he was attacked by a group of boys of similar age to him at around 5.45pm.

The victim, who lives in Horsham, was repeatedly punched.

He was checked over by ambulance staff but received no serious injuries.

The group of six to eight boys were all described as white and a couple of them were wearing no shirts.

Anyone who saw what happened or who has information is asked to contact police on 101 or email quoting serial 1158 of 17/4.
