A former street market was taken over by more than 50 fleet-footed free runners for a series of dance sessions.
Residents in the Tarner area of Brighton participated in workshops this week in the old marketing building in Circus Street.
The event was funded by Cathedral Group and McLaren as Brighton dance troupe Urban Playground led the workshops organised by South East Dance.
Martyn Evans, creative director at Cathedral Group, said: “We are delighted to help South East Dance bring such special and unique dance opportunities to local people right on the site where we aim to build their future Dance Space.”
The event was part of an ongoing programme run by South East Dance which aims to bring world-class dance artists and local communities together.
Cathedral Group in partnership with McLaren Property submitted a planning application in December for a development on the site estimated to bring more than £200 million into Brighton and Hove over the next ten years.
