Police are becoming increasingly concerned for a 40-year-old man who has gone missing from his home in Burgess Hill.

Paul Stoneham left his home in the town at about 8pm on 23 April and has not been seen or heard from since.

His green Vauxhall Astra, registration number HK55 HNN, was seen on the A259 in Portslade the next morning but has not been seen since.

Paul has short light brown hair and was wearing blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms and possibly a fleece when he left home.

PC Heather Mackay said: "We're becoming increasingly concerned for Paul as we have had no sightings of him for more than a day now.

"His wife and family are extremely worried about him and need to speak to him to make sure he is ok.

"If you know where he is or have seen him or his vehicle, please contact us."

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting serial 1446 of 23/4 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk.

Must be much more to this story as police don't usually look for adults after such a short time.
