A man will appear in court accused of shouting racist abuse at a member of the public.
Police were called to Blatchington Road, Hove, at around 4.30pm on Wednesday, April 2, to a report that a man was being abusive to an Asian man in the street.
Steven Kelsey, 30, of Meadow Close, Portslade, has been charged with using threatening and abusive language and causing racially aggravated harassment, alarm or distress.
He was released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on May 1.
