HIGHWAYS officers are working to clear a tree which fell on to the A272 earlier this morning.
The tree was reported to have fallen at about 4.20am on the road at Wisborough Green, blocking the road in both directions.
There have been no reports of damage to other trees and no vehicles are thought to be involved.
No one has been injured.
West Sussex Highways are dealing with the clearance of the obstruction and diversions are still in place.
