Engineering works causing rail delays at Brighton station

COMMUTERS are being warned to expect delays of up to 30 minutes this morning.

Southern Rail has said disruption is expected on some Brighton services between Littlehampton, Seaford, Ore and London Victoria while emergency engineering works are carried out.

Thank god. Railway would be wonderful if engineering work wasn't carried out. Every trip a mystery full of suspense.....will we get there on time replaced by will we get there alive. I would much much rather be delayed on a train than killed on it because safety engineering wasn't carried out properly.
