Police are appealing for assistance in tracing a missing 34-year-old man from Ipswich.

Aaron Weibel was reported missing on Monday evening, May 25, after failing to return to his accommodation in Foxhall Road, Ipswich. He has not been heard from since.

He is described as white, 5' 11", of stocky build, with cropped black hair and a beard. He may be wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a grey hooded top and a black beanie hat. He may also have a pushbike with him and be carrying a reusable JD bag.

He may have travelled to the Brighton or Crawley areas and he also has connections to the Cambridgeshire area.

Aaron requires regular medication and as such police are keen to trace him as soon as possible. If anyone thinks they have seen Aaron they are advised not to approach him but to call 101 and ask to connect to Suffolk police.

Another (lack of) Care in the Community case, at a guess?

Whilst the old long term psychiatric institutions were inappropriate to the late 20th Century, simply closing them and dumping their contents on Homeless services/Local Authority housing services/Probation Services and then just assuming the Police will pick up the pieces was TRULY criminal.
