A fire crew was called out to the University of Sussex this morning.
More than 100 litres of fuel have leaked at a University of Sussex bio lab in Falmer.
The diesel spill from a stand-by generator on the top floor seeped through the ceiling to the floor below.
Firefighters from Preston Circus Fire Station, Brighton, were called out at around 6.30am to attend to the spill.
One fire engine with four officers and a Hazmat officer attended to make the area safe.
