A burglary was carried out at a workshop but nothing was stolen.

Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at a workshop just off the A259, near Green Lane, in Hooe, Battle, between 10.30pm and 11pm on Wednesday (4 June).

The door to the workshop was damaged to gain entry and although some tools were moved to the front of the workshop, nothing was taken.

It is believed that the suspect was disturbed before being able to steal anything.

Any witness or anyone with information is asked to call 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk  quoting serial 1695 of 4/6. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
