Man rescued from under tractor
A worker had to be rescued after becoming trapped under a tractor.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to a lane in Beckley near Rye after a man was trapped under a mower attached to a tractor at 12.25pm this afternoon.
Fire crews from The Ridge Fire Station in Hastings and a specialist team from Battle were able to stabilise the tractor to free the man who was then treated by paramedics in an operation lasting more than an hour.
