Road closed after car and van crash
A car and a transit van collided leaving a stretch of road closed.
Sussex Police and West Sussex Fire and Rescue attended and one woman had to be cut from a vehicle by the fire service.
She was then taken to hospital by the ambulance service.
The accident happened just after 11pm when the two vehicles collided leaving the road partially blocked.
The London Road in Balcombe is shut in both directions between the junction with High Street and the Crowdray Arms pub.
