A missing man is thought to be in Hastings after he was reported missing from his Kent home.

Police are appealing for the public's help to find missing 28-year-old Stuart Lee who is believed to have travelled to Sussex.

He was reported missing from his home in Bowers Road, Shoreham, Kent, at 9.40am on Sunday and there are growing concerns for his welfare.

It is believed that Stuart may have travelled to Hastings and a police search for him is ongoing.

Officers are being assisted by volunteers from Kent Search and Rescue.

Sergeant Neil Bates of Sussex Police said: "We believe Stuart could now be in or around Hastings so we are keen for people to keep an eye out for him.

"He is not a danger to the public but I would ask anyone that does know where he is to contact us immediately."

Stuart is white, of slight build, 6ft and with straight black hair. He wears glasses and may be using a hearing aid.

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting serial 969 of 9/6 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
