Lorry fire brings busy A road to a halt
Fire crews were called to tackle a lorry blaze on a busy A road.
The crew from Eastbourne was sent to Cross Levels Way in the town shortly after 6pm on Wednesday evening (June 11).
The blaze had started in the engine compartment and was put out before it could spread any further.
There were no injuries and minor damage to the lorry.
