A SUSSEX singer took a break from her usual gigs at nursing homes and put in a show-stopping performance in front of more than 2,000 people at a festival in Holland.
Corrine Williams, from Brighton, has 48 nursing homes across the city booking her to sing, but fancied a change of pace.
She contacted Britain’s Got Talent 2012 semi-finalists Jive Aces, who invited her along to perform with them after being blown away by her demo tapes.
Corrine said: “I have been singing at nursing homes for the elderly and care homes for the elderly and for children with learning difficulties for about two years now. I heard of the Jive Aces when I saw them go through to the semi-finals on Britain’s Got Talent. So I thought I’d try my luck and contacted them through their website. They listened to my demo and took me to a couple of their shows.
“I am back now as I have nursing home bookings to attend to so unfortunately I can’t go away with them to Paris this week. The care homes and nursing homes are very close to my heart and I didn’t want to let them down.”
