Two men planning to go fishing had to be rescued after their boat broke down.

The 17ft boat was just two miles out of Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne, this morning when it suffered engine failure.

The men on board contacted the Dover Coastguard and the Eastbourne RNLI lifeboat was called out to tow them back to safety.
