HUNDREDS of women will take to the streets of Brighton and Hove tonight for a hospice’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

The annual Martlets Midnight Walk will start and finish at Brighton Racecourse.

Walkers either do a six- or 13-mile route and all money raised will go towards the cost of the Hove-based hospice’s work.

Hospice director of fundraising, Robert Griffiths, said: “We would like to say thank you and good luck to all those who have registered to take part.

“I’d also like to thank all our sponsors and volunteers.”

Now in its eighth year, the walk has raised more than £1 million.
