ACTION for Children has places available for its sponsored abseil down Brighton’s The Grand hotel on July 17.
The charity is calling on people with a head for heights to raise funds for vulnerable children and young people by abseiling 100 feet down the side of the hotel in King’s Road.
Selena Goldsmith, Action for Children Kent and East Sussex fundraiser, said: “This is such a fun challenge and a rare opportunity to abseil an iconic building rarely open for this sort of thing.
“We are encouraging groups from local businesses and companies in Brighton to take part as it’s a great for team building and a fun hour out of the office.
“Anyone over 16 can take part and we provide full support and training if this is your first time.”
Morning and afternoon abseils are available, registration is £20 and participants are asked to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship.
