A life sentence serving robber who is one of the 89 prisoners who have absonded from Ford Open Prison has been arrested.
Kevin Brown, 54, who was serving a life sentence for conspiracy to rob and firearms offences was arrested yesterday in Bristol.
Avon and Somerset Police made the arrest at a public house in the Clifton area of the city at about 6pm on Saturday.
Brown absconded from Ford Prison on April 10.
He will appear before Bristol Magistrates Court on Monday (16 June).
Sussex Police is actively seeking absconders from the prison and is sharing information with other police forces in an effort to bring them to justice.
