JUDGES, lawyers, students and charity workers are walking 10km for charity today.
More than 100 people have signed up to the Brighton Legal Walk, which will start outside Brighton Magistrates’ Court at 5.30pm.
The event, organised by The London Legal Support Trust and now in its seventh year, is expected to raise over £5,000 towards legal support for those who need free legal advice.
Nikki Homewood, director of homelessness and complex needs services at Brighton Housing Trust, said: “We continue to see the increasing demand and need for advice from Brighton and Hove residents who are at risk of losing their home.
“It is more important than ever that we all work together to make sure people get the support they need at a time of crisis.”
