WEST Sussex County Council’s roadworks programme is delivering results but is seeing more road closures than usual.
The £30m Better Roads Programme to repair roads damaged by extreme weather over the past few years started in April and has repaired and resurfaced 99 sites around West Sussex.
So far, the campaign has repaired 116, 984 sqm of road – almost the size of 14 Wembley Stadium football pitches.
However, the programme has caused more road closures than normal.

All dates are subject to change due to weather conditions.
Sites in Adur, Arun, Chichester, Chanctonbury, Crawley, Downland, Horssham, Mid Sussex and Worthing have so far been repaired or resurfaced under the Better Roads Programme.
