THE Royal Wootton Bassett Arts Festival will kick off tomorrow from 1pm with a brass ensemble in St Bartholomew’s and All Saints Church.

This will be followed by an afternoon of school choirs and singing, followed by adult singing and choirs from 6.30pm.

The programme continues on Friday evening in the Memorial Hall, with piano of Grade 8 and above followed by singing from 17s and older.

The festival will continue over the weekend with various instrumental classes, including reorders, strings, clarinets, and piano.

The festival will round off on Sunday with the Rotary young musicians competition and the Royal Wootton Bassett Arts Festival June music highlights concert.

The adjudicator for the festival is Andrew Hansford.

The concert will be judged by Mike Avery, Alan Macrae and Sheila Harrod.
