A man has admitted the manslaughter of a homeless woman whose body was found in public toilets last year.
Timothy Smythe, 52, formerly of Brighton, admitted the charge when he appeared at Lewes Crown Court on Friday June 13.
Faye Isaac, 39, was found dead by a cleaner in The Colonnade toilets in Madeira Drive, Brighton, just before 10.50am on November 22 last year.
Smythe will be sentenced at a Newton hearing at court on October 6. A Newton hearing is when, after the defendant is convicted, the court hears evidence to help it decide on sentence because the prosecution version of the circumstances of the offence differs from the defence version.
