A ROD Stewart fan was told to “go home” after he got into a confrontation with his wife at a concert.
The pair were attending the Rod Stewart concert at the American Express Community Stadium in Brighton.
The Amex stewards contacted Sussex Police over the domestic incident and the man was then ejected, taken to the railway station and told to go home.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “We were contacted by stewards at American Express Community Stadium in Falmer during the Rod Stewart concert to a report of a domestic incident.
“The stewards had been alerted to a man and a woman who had been drinking and were arguing. The man and the woman were spoken to by officers but both said that the incident was a verbal one only. Witnesses had not seen any violence used.
“The man was ejected and taken to the railway station to go home.”
