A driver has been taken to hospital after a crash this morning.

Emergency services were called to the A27 in Worthing at 6.20am.

A car lost control on the westbound stretch of the road near the Coach and Horses pub and ended on its side.

The female driver was trapped and firefighters used stabalising jacks and ladders to get to her.

Once out of the vehicle paramedics took over and she was taken to hospital.

Her condition is not known.

More to come.

How exactly? You could use that argument every time there is an accident. Morrissons car park in Worthing is a death trap going by the amount of accidents happen there.
